Hello.

I'm Ali Shahwali.

I am a Software Engineer currently working at Atlar where we are modernizing the way finance teams manage money.

I graduated from the Royal Institute of Technlogy, or KTH, in Stockholm, Sweden. I graduated with a Masters Degree in Computer Science and a Bachelors degree in Information Technology. My main area of focus was theoretical computer science. You can find my Masters Thesis, which was done at Ericsson, here.

I enjoy studying complicated problems and building clever, efficient solutions from scratch. Over the years I've built all kinds of software ranging from compilers, 3D renderers, code editors and implementations of various obscure algorithms and theoretical constructs. Currently I spend a good amount of time writing Zig code. You can find some of my projects on my GitHub profile.
